Display-related malfunction symptoms
Intermittent black screen and bright screen: During vehicle operation, the display on the right side of the dashboard suddenly goes black without any pattern, and then returns to normal display after a few seconds or tens of seconds. This phenomenon occurs more frequently when the vehicle passes through bumpy sections, such as when passing over speed bumps or uneven road surfaces, as the black screen is easily triggered.
Display disorder: The driving information on the display becomes disordered, such as the speed display being seriously inconsistent with the actual speed. For example, the normal driving speed should be around 60 kilometers per hour, but the screen shows 120 kilometers per hour; or the fuel consumption and range of the vehicle fluctuate frequently, sometimes showing 500 kilometers of remaining range, and sometimes dropping to 200 kilometers.
Partial display absence: Some areas of the display cannot function properly, for example, the navigation map area on the right side only shows half, while the other half is completely black; or the vehicle status indicator light area, some indicators cannot light up even when the corresponding system is faulty and there is no prompt.
Mechanical malfunction symptoms
Panel warping and abnormal noise: The edge of the decorative panel on the right side gradually warps, and during vehicle operation, the warped part constantly rubs and collides with the dashboard, emitting a "tap-tap-tap" abnormal noise. This noise becomes more obvious when the vehicle accelerates, decelerates, or turns.
Panel cracking and deformation: Minor cracks appear on the surface of the decorative panel, and over time, the cracks gradually expand, and even the panel deforms. For example, the originally flat panel, the middle part rises upward, forming a significant gap with the dashboard.
Button and knob malfunction: The air conditioning buttons, volume adjustment knobs on the panel malfunction, showing stuck or weak rebound. When pressing the air conditioning temperature adjustment button, the button cannot be normally released and needs manual assistance to reset; when rotating the volume adjustment knob, the feel is rough, and there is a noticeable "squeaking" sound during the rotation, and the volume adjustment is not accurate; rotating half a turn, the volume does not change, and then rotating a little, the volume suddenly increases.
Function-related malfunction symptoms
Button no response: Pressing the function buttons on the right side of the dashboard, such as the buttons for switching the display information of the driving computer, the button for turning on the passenger seat heating, etc., the vehicle shows no response and the function is completely ineffective. Sometimes, after multiple forceful presses, the function can occasionally be triggered, but most of the time, it is in an unresponsive state.
Function mis-triggering: The panel's functions trigger automatically without operation. For example, during normal driving, the air conditioning suddenly turns on and is set to the maximum wind speed, or the airbag indicator light on the passenger seat suddenly lights up, even when the vehicle is in a normal state, it cannot be turned off.
Adjustment function failure: When rotating the wind volume adjustment knob, the air conditioning wind speed does not change and remains at a fixed position; or when adjusting the air outlet mode, the air outlet direction cannot be switched, always remaining in the face blowing mode, unable to switch to the foot blowing or windshield blowing mode.
