Fault analysis
After the internal short circuit of the ignition coil, the shell is hot, the high voltage spark is very weak, the jump distance is short, it seems to be broken not broken, and it is especially easy to stall when accelerating rapidly. Common low-voltage (primary) lines in use heat up due to excessive current, which erodes insulation and causes short circuit or break of low-voltage circuits.
Some ignition coil burst damage is caused by the ignition switch being in the connected position for a long time, the contact closing time is long, or the two wires on the additional resistance are reversed, resulting in the additional resistance being short-circuited, so that the ignition coil heats up.
Fault cause
1. High ambient temperature: the temperature is too high, causing the ignition coil to overheat (the cloth can be dipped in water to slowly cool it);
2. Engine overheating: the ignition coil installation part is too close to the heat source, and the heat dissipation is poor (the overheating fault should be eliminated, and the coil power should be installed in the part slightly away from the engine)
3. Improper wiring: the wiring error on the ignition coil will cause the additional resistance to fail to work, resulting in the coil temperature rising at the low speed of the engine;
4. The generator regulation voltage is too high: because the regulator voltage is too high, the primary current is too large, resulting in increased output voltage and coil heating;
5. The ignition coil does not match the engine: when replacing the coil, it is necessary to choose the one that is suitable for the model, and do not think that the same voltage can be universal;

6.The coil quality is poor or the internal turn short circuit and heat: the influence of the use process, such as forgetting to turn off the ignition switch when parking, long-term power; Spark plug due to carbon accumulation for a long time "hanging fire" and the distribution center carbon loose for a long time to fire, will make the ignition coil overheat and ablation insulation or explosion damage
