The generator belt is broken
Generator belt is the drive belt of the engine external equipment, which generally drives the generator, air conditioning compressor, steering booster pump, water pump, etc.
If the generator belt breaks, the consequences are very serious, not only affecting the safety of driving, but also causing the vehicle to break down:
1, the work of the generator is directly driven by the generator belt, broken, the generator is not working. At this time the vehicle consumption is the battery's direct power supply, rather than the generator power supply. After driving a short distance, the vehicle runs out of battery and cannot start;
2. Some models of water pump are driven by generator belt. If the belt is broken, the engine will have high water temperature and cannot travel normally, which will lead to high temperature damage of the engine.
3, steering booster pump can not work normally, vehicle power failure. Driving will seriously affect the safety of driving.
