Classification
1. Full floating axle shaft
The half shaft that only bears torque and its two ends do not bear any force and bending moment is called full floating half shaft. Therefore, in addition to transmitting torque, it also bears the bending moment caused by the vertical force, driving force and lateral force transmitted by the wheel. Semi floating axle shaft is used in passenger cars and some of the same vehicles because of its simple structure, low quality and low cost.
