It is like a silent guardian, constantly safeguarding the core operation of the engine. Once it fails, it will trigger a chain reaction, affecting the overall performance of the vehicle.
The core mission of the cylinder gasket is to seal. It is tightly attached between the cylinder block and the cylinder head, filling the microscopic pores and unevenness of the joint surface, and forming a solid protective barrier. First, it must ensure the sealing of the combustion chamber. When the engine is working, the cylinder will generate temperatures of up to several thousand degrees Celsius and pressures of tens of megapascals. The cylinder gasket can effectively prevent gas leakage, ensuring that the combustible mixture is fully burned and converting energy to power to the maximum extent.
